Project Management: How to Create a Gantt Chart in Wrike
By the end of this project, you will create an interactive Gantt chart to plan a Birthday party event using Wrike. You will also be able to follow the general interface of Wrike to create your own spaces, folders, projects, and tasks. You will develop organizational skills that aid you in managing several tasks and projects simultaneously. The target for this guided project is to complete a Gantt chart to plan for a project. Gantt charting allows you to follow up on your tasks and gives you an idea of the duration of each task compared to one another. This guided project is for beginners who want to organize and manage several projects including project managers, team leaders, and entrepreneurs. It’s also a great tool to use to organize your day to day activities in general. It will benefit your career development by aiding you to follow up with all of your projects and tasks in one place. It will also help you organize and align your team members and/ or employees. Wrike is an online software that enables you to add all of your important projects and events in your personal and professional lives. It gives you several methods of preparing and viewing the information you add to it including assigning tasks to team members and adding deadlines.
Strategies for Effective Engagement
Being a successful professional requires creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial thinking, and to continually have a problem-solving mindset. As a systems thinker, you are expected to engage complex problems from multiple perspectives and different angles, viewing them holistically. This course exposes the student to a variety of tools used to engage stakeholders, collect data, and more deeply understand the community. This course will have three modules. Techniques for Data Collection will reinforce the importance of built trust and rapport with your client and stakeholders, which in turn creates buy in. Students will then learn how to enter a community, conduct rapid assessments to provide a snapshot of the community or organization, and maintain ethical conduct throughout. System Mapping & Analysis will focus on mapping systems and stakeholders, two different techniques that are useful to visualize systems and identify and evaluate a network of stakeholders. Finally, in Conducting Interviews & Surveys, students will learn different techniques to collect information. From focus group interview to one-on-one interviews, to surveys, systems thinkers need a mix of approaches in their toolbox to identify assess needs and assets, engage stakeholders, and collect information throughout all phases of project implementation.

How to Use The IFE-EFE Matrix for Strategic Analysis
In this 1-hour long project-based course, you will be able to analyze your organization and identify your competitive advantage with the Internal Factor Evaluation-External Factor Evaluation (IFE-EFE) matrix. IFE-EFE matrix is strategic management tools used for input stage of strategy formulation. The IFE is focused on the internal dimension of the organization by looking at the strengths and weaknesses. While the EFE is concerned with the external factors by focusing on the opportunities and threats the organization is exposed to. The IFE-EFE matrix is created by assigning weight to each of the factors based on their perceived impact. Then the factors are ranked based on the company performance on each. The weighted score is determined by multiplying the weight by the ranks. Finally, the information on the overall scores of the IFE- EFE would reveal if the company meets the threshold to survive the competitiveness of the industry. To demonstrate the application of the IFE-EFE matrix, we will use a spreadsheet to analyze a division of our energy services company together. The example of the case study would empower you to use the model to analyze your company or any other company of your choice. This course explores the concept of gender identity for people who are curious about the nature of gender, the process of gender affirmation, or changing social dynamics. Participants will learn the unique challenges faced by the TGNC population as well as develop the skills to build inclusive spaces in all spheres of their life. This course was developed under the Joycelyn Elders Chair in Sexual Health Education at the University of Minnesota.

This is an advanced course for Chinese for beginners. Learners will expand vocabularies about personal information, daily life, food and drink, healthy, and expressions about greeting, suggestion, agreement, comparison, complaint, prohibition, experience, plan, recommendation, etc. Learners can improve their listening and speaking and know much more about Chinese social cultures. As the same as Chinese for beginners, the course doesn’t ask the learners to know Chinese characters. Recommended Background: For learners with certain English language ability and better have attended Chinese for beginners.
Designing Your Personal Weight Loss Plan
This 5 week course will guide learners through the essential steps in planning an individualized weight loss program. There is no guarantee of weight loss through completing the course; learners will have the framework and essential components for an evidence-based weight loss program. This course is intended for healthy adults who do not have any chronic disease such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, lung disease or any others. In addition, this course does not provide information for people who have food allergies or intolerances. Losing weight and keeping it off requires planning and goal-setting. Crash diets or fad diets are ineffective and can be dangerous. This course provides evidence-based information for planning a weight loss program that is safe and effective in producing a one to two pound loss per week. This course will help learners establish the following: 1. A realistic goal weight with a specific plan for rate of weight loss and time frame for achieving goal weight. 2. A realistic goal for the frequency, duration, and intensity of exercise that will enable the learner to achieve and maintain the goal weight. 3. A specific set of strategies for grocery shopping, eating in restaurants, eating at social occasions, and dealing with hunger and emotional eating. 4. A plan for monitoring food intake, exercise and weight loss. 5. A plan for continued evaluation of progress to goals and strategies for adjusting goals for continued weight loss for the next 6 months or longer. 6. A thorough understanding of the difficulty of maintaining weight loss and a plan for maximizing the chances of keeping off the weight lost.
