By the end of this project, you’ll be able to create and add, edit, style, and bend text in Photoshop. You’ll practice with some advanced text capabilities, like placing text on paths and inside them. And you’ll practice with shortcuts that make text editing fast and fun. During this project, you’ll add different kinds of text to a poster and take full advantage of Photoshop text and styling tools. By the end of the project, you’ll create a 1-page visual reference of Photoshop’s text capabilities.
Getting Started with Facebook Pixel
In this 1 hour long project, you will create a Facebook Pixel, learn various integration methods, create a custom audience using Facebook Pixel and then learn about creating Facebook ads using the Facebook Pixel. You will also learn about the application of Pixel in Facebook marketing, especially in Retargeting. We will explore manual & partner integrations in detail. I will also show you a demo on how to integrate Pixel with Wix. In the final tasks, we will create a custom audience & Facebook ads using Pixel. In this 2-hour long project-based course, you will learn the basic parts of a resume and how to customize a resume template in LibreOffice, identify and list your hard skills and soft skills, write a resume summary including your identified hard and soft skills in LibreOffice, review a job listing of your choice and identify the required hard and soft skills, and tailor your resume summary to reflect hard and soft skills in the chosen job listing Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North American region. The Art of Negotiation
The art of negotiation comes into play daily in the life of employees at all levels and in every position. Participants explore how current approaches to negotiation strategy and tactics are used, what negotiation entails, types of negotiation relationships that exist from hard bargain to win-win, to fully partnered relationships and personal ones. The course explores the personal and behavioral characteristics of an effective negotiator. Participants discuss how empowerment, power, and authority affect the negotiation process and outcome. Six Sigma Tools for Analyze
This course will cover the Measure phase and portions of the Analyze phase of the Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) process. You will learn about lean tools for process analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), measurement system analysis (MSA) and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R), and you will be introduced to basic statistics. Registration includes online access to course content, projects, and resources but does not include the companion text The Certified Six Sigma Handbook (2nd edition). The companion text is not required to complete the assignments. However, the text is a recognized handbook used by professionals in the field. Also, it is a highly recommended text for those wishing to move forward in Six Sigma and eventually gain certification from professional agencies such as American Society for Quality (ASQ).
