About the internship Key Responsibilities: SEO Basics: 1. Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization. 2. Assist in on-page optimization (titles, meta tags, headers, image alt texts, etc.). 3. Support in performing website audits and identifying issues affecting SEO performance. 4. Learn and implement GMB optimization for location-based search rankings. 5. Assist in optimizing website structure and content for better search engine visibility. Analytics & Monitoring: 1. Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. 2. Track and analyze traffic data and provide insights for improvement. 3. Generate weekly or bi-weekly performance reports under guidance. Competitive Analysis: 1. Research competitor websites to identify their strengths and weaknesses in SEO. 2. Provide suggestions to outperform competitors in search rankings. Required Skills and Qualifications: 1. Basic knowledge of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO). 2. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and any SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz) is a plus. 3. Proficiency in WordPress is a bonus. 4. Strong analytical and research skills. 5. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques. 6. Good communication and reporting skills. What You Will Learn: 1. Hands-on experience in implementing SEO strategies. 2. In-depth knowledge of keyword research and competitor analysis. 3. How to optimize websites for organic rankings and performance. 4. The role of tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO plugins. 5. Insights into technical SEO and content optimization.
