About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Working with the conference production team to develop an understanding of the event programs 2. Researching attendees and generating attendee leads 3. Cold calling and selling to a list of prospective event attendees 4. Securing new delegate registrations and rebooking them from past events 5. Engaging with clients on the phone and developing lasting relationships 6. Working on the daily management and maintenance of sales records, updating CRM, and ensuring they are kept up to date with attendees and details 7. Working with the marketing department to convert inbound sales inquiries into registrations 8. Achieving monthly and overall revenue targets 9. Making a high number of calls to meet daily KPIs, to be set by management 10.
