In addition to the project, the course includes a peer discussion opportunity, a demonstration video, and a peer review assignment. Completion of the Salesforce Fundamentals specialization and the Business Administration Specialist Superbadge prepares learners to take the Salesforce Administrator exam.
Hosting SQL Server & Database with Azure
In this guided project, you will host a SQL server and database with Azure and use the Microsoft SQL server management studio to connect to the SQL server. We will also explore different SQL database deployment and pricing options. By the end of this project, you will be confident in hosting an SQL database on an SQL Server on Azure.
In order to complete this project successfully, you need an Azure account. If you do not have an Azure account, you will be prompted to create one in the project.
AWS: Publish a NodeJS Website from Scratch
In this project-based course, you will learn how to launch your own server at Amazon AWS Lightsail, configure your own SSH client and upload files to the server. Then, you will learn how to modify the server to access it privately. Further, you will learn how to change the server configuration to have a simple NodeJS game with both a backend and frontend started automatically and its content served through the Apache webserver.
Note: To avoid distraction for setup during the course, we would recommend that you create an Amazon AWS account beforehand.
Creating an Object Detection Application Using TensorFlow
This is a self-paced lab that takes place in the Google Cloud console.
This lab will show you how to install and run an object detection application. The application uses TensorFlow and other public API libraries to detect multiple objects in an uploaded image.
Basic System Programming on IBM Z
The foundational knowledge for the position of an IBM z/OS System Programmer and System Administrator begins with this third and final course in the three course professional certificate track. Migrating On-premises MySQL Using a Continuous Database Migration Service Job
This is a self-paced lab that takes place in the Google Cloud console.
In this lab, you migrate an on-premises MySQL database (running on a virtual machine) to Cloud SQL for MySQL using a continuous Database Migration Service job and VPC peering for connectivity. After you create and run the migration job, you confirm that an initial copy of your database has been successfully migrated to your Cloud SQL for MySQL instance. Then, you explore how continuous migration jobs continue to apply data updates from your source database to your Cloud SQL instance until you choose to complete the job. To conclude the migration job, you promote the Cloud SQL instance to be a new standalone database for reading and writing data.
Palo Alto Networks: VM-Series AutoScale in Google Cloud
This is a self-paced lab that takes place in the Google Cloud console. In this lab you deploy the Palo Alto Networks VM-Series Autoscaling solution for pre-existing Google Cloud environments and Panorama, the centralized security management platform, will make API calls to monitor autoscale events and license mgmnt.
Managing Security in Google Cloud
This self-paced training course gives participants broad study of security controls and techniques on Google Cloud. Through recorded lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs, participants explore and deploy the components of a secure Google Cloud solution, including Cloud Identity, Resource Manager, Cloud IAM, Virtual Private Cloud firewalls, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Peering, Cloud Interconnect, and VPC Service Controls.
This is the first course of the Security in Google Cloud series. After completing this course, enroll in the Security Best Practices in Google Cloud course.
Use C# to Process XML Data
By the end of this project, you will Use C# to process XML data in a C# program. XML is an eXtensible Markup Language used to transport data across the internet for display or other processing. It provides a standard format so data may be validated as well. C#, like other languages, contains classes to read and validate XML documents.
Wireshark for Basic Network Security Analysis
In this 1-hour 30-minutes long project-based course, you will learn how to use Wireshark to capture the Network Traffic you need and analyze it securely. You will have a better understanding of encrypted and unencrypted traffic and how to differentiate between them. You will dig deeply into unencrypted protocols such as RADIUS, HTTP, DNS and Telnet by generating the Traffic of each of them and capturing it yourself. Also you will generate, capture and look into secure and encrypted protocols such as HTTPS and SSH. Additionally, you will learn how to capture HTTPS Traffic and decrypt them by using a pre-master secret key.
Note: This project works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.
