What is the Safety Marshal role here in 1Aviation?

The Safety Marshal is vital in ensuring that 1Aviation’s Mission, Vision, and Values are upheld by promoting and ensuring compliance with Quality, Safety, and Security. This role involves overseeing safety protocols and conducting regular safety rounds to identify and mitigate potential hazards. The Safety Marshal performs regular flight walkarounds to monitor operational safety compliance and observes individual behavior to ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations. Additionally, the Safety Marshal supports the Safety Manager and Safety Officer by performing other safety-related tasks as assigned.

What Will You Do

Ensures that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved.

Promotes and ensures compliance to Quality, Safety, and Security standards based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards, and company policies and procedures.

Responsible for overseeing safety protocols and procedures.

Conduct regular safety rounds and ramp spot inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.

Conduct regular flight walk-around to oversee compliance with operational safety.

Assist in conducting investigations in incidents/accidents as directed by the Safety Manager or Safety Officer.

Monitor the behavior of individuals to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Perform other tasks that the Safety Manager or Safety Officer may assign.

An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

Excellent communication, coordination & presentation skills

Organized

Meticulous

Can work in a fast-paced environment

Must be a college graduate of any course. Background in Airline / Airport Operations experience is an advantage
