Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics (KPIs & SLAs) to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and business expectations.
Conduct regular vendor evaluations and performance reviews, addressing any issues that may arise.
Develop and implement corrective action plans to address underperformance or non-compliance.
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key vendors to drive collaboration and value creation.
Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues, fostering open communication and issue resolution.
Facilitate regular business reviews and discussions to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Ensure strict adherence to contract terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and compliance requirements.
Work with legal, procurement and user teams to enforce contract provisions, mitigate risks, and resolve disputes.
Identify potential vendor-related risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Proactively manage contract disputes, service failures, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution with minimal business impact.
Ensure business continuity by developing contingency plans for critical vendor relationships.
Drive initiatives to enhance vendor performance, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and strategic partnerships with vendors.
Support procurement teams in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities through vendor negotiations and performance enhancements.
Requirements
Atleast Six (6)years relevant working experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired
Bachelor’s Degree required
Professional Qualification in CIPS is an added advantage
