Mission of Position

The Instrumentation and Control Engineer is responsible for the operation of all Programmable Logic Control, Instrumentation and Control related equipment of the plant.

REGULAR OPERATIONS

Performs corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of PLC, Instrumentation & Control related equipment in accordance to accepted standards and procedures.

Installs related operational devices to support INYOvation projects, Benchmarks, and Strategic Plans.

Studies and suggests improvements for all PLC, Instrumentation & Control related equipment

X

Submits related reports on electronic maintenance and equipment status. Reports any abnormalities and problems concerning the assigned task and makes necessary recommendations if possible.

Prepares guidelines and procedures relating to SCADA.

X

Coordinates the implementation of PLC and Instrumentation & Control planned maintenance with IT, plant engineers or superiors.

X

Facilitates the calibration of PLC and Instrumentation & Control equipment.

X

Monitors and requests necessary spares for all PLC Instrumentation & Control equipment in the plants.

X

Ensures that the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and determination of Controls (ORMP)/Aspect Impact Assessment are properly implemented.

Performs quarterly inspection of all SCADA and CMMS equipment and submits report accordingly.

Performs downloading of SCADA data and provide back up at the file server regularly.

Reports any Integrated Management System events/incidents or potential events or other risks to the organization.

Protects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference by:

Storing documents, forms, contracts, manuals, books and other documents to locked storage rooms/steel cabinets.

Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of all plant records necessary for operations.

Implement Operational Technology security to prevent OT vulnerability and cyber security breach

Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role.

Professional: Preferably with at least a year of experience in Instrumentation.

Must have knowledge in the Philippine Grid Code and Philippine Electrical and Mechanical Code

Education

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering

License

Preferably a Licensed Engineer (Electrical/ ECE)
