Job Brief

The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing effective supply and replenishment plans aligned with sales forecasts and business strategies across all the warehouses in Nigeria. This role is critical in optimizing stock allocation, load factor planning, and inventory health, ensuring timely product availability, and supporting cross-functional coordination with Sales, Warehousing, and Procurement.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a rolling inventory plan based on sales forecast, historical trends, and real-time market input.

Prepare and manage load factor planning to maximize dispatch efficiency across PAN Nigeria.

Allocate SKUs across all warehouse locations based on region-wise sales velocity, shelf life, and projected demand.

Track and analyze TO raised vs TO GRN, LPO vs GRN, and service levels (CDC and Regional WHs) daily, and share a Daily MIS.

Coordinate with procurement and warehousing teams to ensure timely and accurate inbound stock movement.

Work closely with the Sales Team to validate forecasts and adjust plans in real-time.

Conduct monthly demand review meetings.

Lead initiatives for inventory balancing and minimize stock-outs or overstock scenarios.

Monitor and report near-expiry and non-moving SKUs at all warehouse locations.

Raise alerts and coordinate SKU liquidation or reverse movement.

Ensure compliance with handling short-shelf-life products.

Generate and share dashboards including TO vs GRN, LPO vs GRN, Daily service levels, Stock ageing and expiry reports.
