About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Intern to join our Placement and Brokerage team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the team's daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. You will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of insurtech, assisting with vital administrative tasks, policy analysis, and market comparisons.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate who is eager to learn about the insurance industry and contribute to a high-growth technology company.
Job Responsibility
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Placement and/or Brokerage team, including managing documentation, preparing reports, scheduling meetings, and maintaining team records
Policy & Pricing Analysis: Assist in comparing insurance policies from various providers, focusing on coverage details, terms, conditions, and exclusions to support the team in finding the best solutions
Documentation & Reporting: Help prepare comparison reports, summaries, and presentations for internal review by the Placement & Brokerage team
Data Management: Assist in inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data related to insurance partners, policies, and pricing in our internal systems
Team Collaboration: Work closely with members of the Placement and Brokerage team to understand their needs and provide timely support, ensuring smooth workflow and communication
Requirements
Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Actuary, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
A proactive, self-motivated, and eager-to-learn attitude
Interest in the insurance or technology (insurtech/fintech) industry is a strong plus
Previous internship or administrative experience is advantageous but not required
