Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the cook in food preparations and cooking
Support the cook and head cook in meal service
Maintain cleanliness and organizing of the kitchen and food storage areas
Assist in receiving and storing food items and catering equipment's
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Able to run the food station when the cook is away
Able to prepare meals and serve with minimal supervision
Experience and Competencies required:
Minimum education: High school Certificate with a minimum of C grade
Culinary training is an added advantage and certificate in food production or hospitality
Experience: working in a busy kitchen with a minimum of 5 years work experience
Basic understanding of food preparation and techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and punctual
Team player with willingness to learn
