WordPress Developer (Australian Client)

Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance our WordPress multisite framework built with the ACF Framework.

Register and manage custom fields and field groups using PHP code.

Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and enhancements.

Optimise site performance and ensure scalability across the network.

Manage version control and participate in code reviews.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the multisite network and custom fields.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development with a focus on multisite networks.

Proven experience using the ACF Framework programmatically (not just via the GUI).

Strong proficiency in PHP, including experience with object-oriented programming.

Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Understanding of WordPress database architecture, particularly in relation to custom fields and multisite setups.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Min 4 years of relevant experience in WordPress development.
