Mission Description
Based in Nairobi and reporting to the head of Freight Forwarding, the overall purpose of the role will be to grow sales volumes at optimum margins to achieve targets and provide customer care with specific deliverables as:-
Initiate the sales process, gather information, prospect, profile and close sales aligned to the corporate set up and processes.
Update and distribute key reports periodically
Participate in maintaining a high level of market intelligence
Develop and support the group to remain competitive in the market
Maintain all sales /Clients records
Conduct client visits based on target prospects and maintain a client maintenance program as consistent with the group policy.
Represent the group in open forums and assignments (exhibitions, meetings etc).
Follow up on payments with Clients
Profile
Business Degree
Certificate in Sales and Marketing
Knowledge of the freight industry
Three years' experience in the Logistics or FMCG industry
