Job Description
Responsibilities
•Responsible for preparation and posting of journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in entries and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet accounts, etc., and resolve the reconciling items promptly.
•Perform Fixed Assets, Projects Accounting and Capital Expenditure/Order Accounting for diverse and complex business operations.
• Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation. • Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
• Helps conduct analysis related to fixed assets as requested by management.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a shared services environment. • Experience with account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in using accounting software (SAP/Oracle, Blackline).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
