Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft and verify tenders, proposals, and contracts for the CEO to ensure clarity, fairness, and logical consistency (no legal skills required, but contracting knowledge is key).
Manage marketing and office service suppliers, from selection to performance monitoring, including website and digital marketing providers.
Coordinate media buying (social, internet, traditional) to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Organize networking events, client recruitment drives, and product/service fairs.
Manage the CEO’s appointments and calendar to balance client, stakeholder, and staff engagements.
Maintain a secure digital and physical filing system, promoting a paperless office.
Prepare proposals and quotations to upsell services to existing customers.
Implement the Communications Strategy, ensuring smooth updates between staff and clients.
Oversee office administration, manage operating cash float, and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
Develop and execute a communication strategy for customers, suppliers, regulators, shareholders, and employees.
Handle staff leave and travel documentation.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or Business Administration (marketing-focused)
Graduates of 2022, 2023 or 2024 or expecting to graduate and have finalized all course work are eligible to apply
A minimum of overall KCSE grade of B in KCSE and having scored a minimum B and above in Mathematics
Keen on handling marketing and sales prospects to achieve business goals.
Keen on managing customer leads and converting them into clients.
Some exposure and understanding of digital marketing campaigns and basic website setup/maintenance.
Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal communication.
Confident communicator who engages easily with people at all levels.
Experienced in Microsoft Office, including Outlook Calendar management.
Capable of overseeing office management and marketing service providers.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused.
Quick learner with a strong interest in IT and problem-solving.
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel,
Anyone with prior experience in sales and marketing, either in internship or a role has an added advantage is encouraged to apply
