Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain your bakkie while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

• Transport products from our facility to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.

• Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logs of mileage driven.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery schedules and any delays encountered.

• Provide exceptional customer service while making deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction with our products.

• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as necessary.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience in driving and logistics is an advantage.

• A valid driver's license is essential, with a strong driving record.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection protocols.

• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.

• Experience driving a bakkie or similar vehicle preferred.

This position operates within a collaborative team structure, where you will be part of a network of drivers and logistical support staff. You will report directly to the logistics manager and work closely with other delivery personnel to optimize routes and schedules.
