Job Purpose
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to drive motor vehicles to transport passengers and other items (e.g. mail and documents).
Minimum Requirements
Junior Certificate (Grade 10) or equivalent qualification; A minimum of 1 year relevant experience; A valid code B (or higher) driving licence with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
Recommendation
Good client relations experience.
Key Performance Areas
Collection of mail bags from the Post Office and documents from all the office of the department, using a vehicle or physically; Sorting and distribution of internal mail to all the offices of the Department; Franking of mail to be posted; Request vehicle and ensure that it is in a good condition; Assist with the execution of functions associated with Records management.

Remuneration
R 193 359 per annum (Salary level 4)

Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to complete a practical assessment and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
