Job Description

Work on defined projects and initiatives that support worker health, safety, and environmental compliance (eg. Government submissions, risk assessments, etc.)

Assist in program & procedure development and implementation

Collect process data and perform calculations

Track and follow up with sites to ensure timely reporting

Review HSE related KPI's in order to target areas of improvement

Assist in compiling government reporting for North America

Update the department’s internal documentation library

Liaise with plant staff on health, safety and environmental issues

Perform other duties as assigned

May require some travel to manufacturing sites within Toronto GTA

Should be comfortable to wear personal protective equipment including safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hat and gloves
