Role: Operations Head – Core Team
Vertical: Mid & High Ticket Size (₹5 crore+)
Reporting: Founder
Location: Remote for 6 months; thereafter, from an office (Mumbai)
DOJ: Immediate to 30 days
About us-
The Debt vertical is a joint venture between We2Grow and Shogun Capital, focused on supporting businesses in raising capital (Debt) in the range of ₹40 lakhs to ₹1,000 crores. We already have close to 50+ lenders with us, including Banks, NBFCs, Venture Debt providers, Debt Syndicates, and Private Lenders. With a constant inflow of projects, we are in the process of expanding our core team, and this role will be crucial in building the team and scaling our business further.
Roles and Responsibilities
Role Summary:
• Drive the complete operations of the Debt Vertical.
• Plan and structure prospect engagements.
• Represent the company in front of clients and lenders.
• Ensure successful closure of all debt finance projects.
• Coordinate with lenders and stakeholders to close deals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Onboard new lenders.
• Build the core team under the vertical.
• Develop and implement SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
• Develop, implement, and oversee operational strategies to support the firm’s growth and project delivery.
• Design and improve internal workflows for client onboarding, documentation, deal structuring, and post-deal monitoring.
2. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Address client queries, resolve concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Execute agreements, NDAS, and other client-related documents.
• Negotiate success fees with clients.
3. Stakeholder Coordination:
• Collaborate closely with consultants, credit teams, financial institutions, legal advisors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of debt mandates.
4. Collaboration and Reporting:
• Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Credit, Finance, and Marketing.
• Provide regular reports on key metrics, performance, and portfolio status to senior management.
• Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure that all funding agreements meet regulatory requirements.
5. Process Adherence and Improvement:
• Continuously monitor operational processes for adherence to SOPs.
• Enhance internal processes to increase operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, financial products, and best practices.
Key Result Areas:
• Achievement of quarterly and annual targets (target vs. % achievement).
• P&L retention for the assigned vertical.
Eligibility:
• 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in banking, investment banking, or structured debt finance.
• Deep understanding of lending products and the overall debt finance ecosystem.
• Fluency in Hindi and English is mandatory.
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• CA / MBA (Finance) qualification is essential.
• Good presentation skills.
Compensation:
• ESOP + Salary (Post-Probation) + Performance Linked Incentives (PLI).
