Exigent founded in 1998 provides multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consulting services.

Project Finance and Planner is responsible for assisting in compiling proposals and to maintain budgets, project and financial planning, control invoicing, cost control, and scheduling to monitor projects budget and schedule. This role bridges the gap between project management, finance, and operations to assist management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling proposals with budget and millstones.
• Maintain project portfolio – Budget vs invoice vs subcontractor’s payments
• Monitor and report on project financial performance, including cost variance, cash flow, and profitability.
• Support project managers with monitoring deliverables, invoice milestones, and payment milestones.
• Monitor invoicing process.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and critical paths.
• Track project costs against budgets and identify cost overruns or inefficiencies.
• Validate supplier invoices, contracts, and progress payments in line with project status.
• Interact with project teams and contract teams with invoicing and deliverable milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Project Management.

Experience:

• 0–3 years’ experience in project finance, cost control, or project planning.
• Experience in Environmental Projects can be an advantage.

Skills:

• Project planning and financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
