
Tax Compliance Analyst (hybrid work arrangement)

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Draft monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and relevant reports and compliance of the assigned companies within the company
Handle BIR & LGU applications upon initial registration and update regularly, if necessary
Build relationships and interact with internal clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and tax expertise
Regularly discuss with the team on the improvement of the accounting processes in order to ensure correct and on time tax filings and minimize tax leakage
Draft annual tax budget
Prepare internal tax assessments for open taxable year/s
Assist in the tax planning and strategy in order to enhance tax compliance and minimize tax exposure
Work closely with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and other departments to provide insight on tax implications of various business decisions
Gives accurate and timely feedback to his/her direct superior on matters which need to be escalated.
Raise issues noted in course of the work
Prepare and assist other ad hoc works required by the company
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
At least 2 years of experience with tax compliance, preferably from accounting or auditing firm
Advantage if the candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Technician (CTT)
