Position Title: Creative Services Coordinator

Status: Regular Part-Time Support

Hours: 24 hours per week

Faculty/Department: International

Campus/Location: Lakeshore Campus

Salary: Band 8, Step 1 ($24.99)

About The Creative Services Coordinator Role

The Creative Services Coordinator, reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Analytics and Strategy, coordinates and delivers the many creative design projects that are key in Humber’s international recruitment and retention strategy. The incumbent’s creative projects will be seen by thousands of prospective students and will help sway them in favour of applying to Humber and away from competitors. The incumbent’s creative projects will also be seen by hundreds of current students and keep them engaged in the academic and social life at Humber. The three main areas of the incumbent’s role are:

Plan, design, develop and launch major creative projects like the annual viewbook

Creative design of artwork for print and digital use in collaboration with stakeholders,

Advanced content writing for the web, digital and print materials, including student testimonials

The incumbent, at times, may deal with sensitive and highly confidential information and communicate directly with Humber staff and third-party vendors.

Education

A degree or 2-year diploma in marketing, communications, graphic design, media communications, or similar program

Experience/Skills

At least 2 years’ experience in marketing, communication, graphic design, media communications roles or similar roles with particular expertise in:

Adobe creative suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop

Practical experience in a complex, fast-paced, diverse service environment that involves managing multiple projects at the same time, strict adherence to tight timelines, and experience in using project management tools.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex policies and procedures concisely and effectively.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite for managing stored files & sharing content with the team in an organized manner.

A strong aptitude for analytics and data

A strong ability to learn new software and technology particularly related to graphic design and CMS.
