Curricular and Data Management Intern
Location: Remote USA
Duration: Summar 2025 Semester, with potential to extend
Schedule: 20 hours per week, flexible
Compensation: $12-$15/hour
Employment Type: Part-time, non-exempt

The Curricular and Data Management intern will support curriculum matching and course equivalency projects, as well as a range of other academic records and data management projects. This role is research and systems based, providing a great opportunity for someone who truly enjoys worki ng with the details. In this internship, you would work with the Student Engagement team as well as colleagues from the Marketing, Institutional Engagement, and Global Operations teams.

Responsibilities
Researching available courses and documenting the results to share with students and campus partners.
Reviewing course content to determine potential equivalencies within US higher education degree plans.
Assisting with maintenance of the academic records database, including data entry, data cleanup, and data analysis. Reviewing class selections of applicants and providing feedback to facilitate acceptable selections.
Research and update areas of study associated with programs as class offers change over time.
Drafting internal correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.
Special projects within the Student Engagement division, as assigned.
General Requirements, Education And Work Experience
Current undergraduate or graduate student
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once; meet deadlines
Keen attention to detail and a mature approach to communication
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders from diverse communities and cultures
Ability to relate to and support students with diverse lived experiences including students of color, students with mental and physical disabilities, first-generation college students, and LGBTQIA+ students
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in Salesforce is helpful, but not required
Authorized to work in the USA; physically located in the USA for the duration of the internship
Physical & Work Environment
Working on a computer to complete usual office tasks such as typing, phone calls, video calls, emailing.
Remote position. IFSA will provide a laptop from which to work, or you can use your own device.
