Roles & Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to transport, load, and unload materials

and products within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining a safe working

environment, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring that goods are handled properly to prevent damage.

Forklift Operation

• Operate forklifts to move materials and products to designated areas in the warehouse or manufacturing facility.

• Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper placement and stacking of goods.

Conduct pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues to supervisors.

Material Handling

• Safely handle and transport various materials, including pallets, crates, and bulk items.

• Follow proper procedures for stacking and storing materials to maximize space and maintain organization.

• Ensure that all materials are labeled correctly and stored in appropriate locations.

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

(PPE).
