Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems.
Accept payments by cash, credit card, or other forms of payment.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner.
Ensure pricing and product information is accurate.
Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and refunds.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service.
Adhere to safety and security guidelines.
Complete opening and closing procedures as required.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of OND or equivalent.
Previous experience in a cashier role preferred.
Strong numerical and math skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
