<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic team as a Web Design Intern within the Narrative Franchise! This internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in digital design, interaction design, and web development while contributing to engaging storytelling projects. You will collaborate with experienced designers and developers to craft visually compelling, user-friendly websites that resonate with diverse audiences. <Responsibilities>
- Assist in designing and implementing website layouts using wireframing tools and responsive web design principles.
- Support the creation of engaging visual content, including graphics, motion graphics, and typography, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Contribute to front-end development tasks by writing clean HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integrating frameworks like Bootstrap or Angular.
- Collaborate on usability testing and user research to optimize website accessibility and ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
- Help maintain and update existing websites using content management systems like WordPress or Drupal, ensuring smooth website maintenance and performance.
- Participate in SEO strategies by analyzing web analytics data from Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to improve site visibility and engagement.
- Support web accessibility standards compliance and assist in implementing best practices for inclusive digital experiences.
<Qualifications>
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Demonstrated proficiency with digital design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD.
- Basic understanding of front-end development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python is preferred.
- Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma, InVision, Balsamiq or Axure.
- Knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics for data analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, usability testing, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive web design techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.
