Position: Transcription AI Trainer – Psychology

Type: Contract (Full-time or Part-time)

Compensation: $50-$200/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio recordings with high accuracy, capturing speaker tone, sentiment, and emotional cues.
• Identify and classify a broad range of emotional expressions across different conversational contexts.
• Develop, refine, and apply structured rubrics for emotion detection and speaker categorization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and reliability in emotional annotation.
• Produce clear written reports and verbal insights highlighting emotional patterns and findings.
• Participate in training sessions to stay aligned with best practices in transcription and emotion analysis.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards when handling sensitive data.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Psychology, Linguistics, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in transcription, linguistic analysis, or psychological assessment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to distinguish nuanced emotional signals in speech.
• Proven experience creating and applying classification or annotation rubrics.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills suitable for remote work.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a distributed team.
