About The Role We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Training Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Year Up United. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering our intensive job training programs, ensuring participants receive high-quality instruction, mentorship, and support throughout their learning journey. This role involves coordinating classroom activities, managing participant progress, and liaising with industry partners to facilitate internship placements. The Training Coordinator will also be responsible for developing engaging curriculum materials, evaluating program effectiveness, and maintaining a positive learning environment that encourages growth and professional development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact young adults’ lives by helping them acquire vital skills and secure meaningful employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, education, or workforce development programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage diverse populations.
• Experience working with youth or young adults is preferred.
• Knowledge of industry-specific skills such as IT, data analytics, project management, or customer service is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and learning management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for youth development and community service.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate classroom training sessions aligned with program objectives and industry standards.
• Provide personalized coaching and mentorship to participants, supporting their professional and personal growth.
• Coordinate with industry partners to facilitate internship placements and ensure participants gain practical work experience.
• Monitor participant progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and engagement.
• Organize workshops, guest speaker sessions, and networking events to enhance participant learning experiences.
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of program participants.
• Evaluate program outcomes and implement improvements based on feedback and data analysis.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters respect, motivation, and achievement.
