✨ About the Role
We’re looking for a visually-driven, highly organized Social Media & Content Intern to help us bring Oya Abeo to life online. You’ll work closely with our founder and in-house team to shoot, edit, and schedule consistent content across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling through short-form video, knows how to find the magic in natural light or studio scenes, and understands how to keep things on brand and on schedule.
🎥 What You’ll Do📷 Content Creation
Plan and execute weekly content shoots (studio, styling, BTS, etc.)
Capture short-form videos and photography for Reels, TikTok, and Stories
Edit content for multiple formats using CapCut, InShot, or Canva
Maintain a shared folder system for raw + edited content
🗓 Content Scheduling
Upload and schedule daily posts using Meta Business Suite or Later
Keep the weekly content calendar updated in ClickUp or Notion
Align content with product drops, events, and storytelling campaigns
📈 Growth & Community Support
Research relevant trends: reel formats, transitions, audio, and visual styles
Assist with basic community management (responding to DMs/comments)
Support influencer and UGC campaigns by tracking visuals and resharing content
✅ You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Are:
A natural visual storyteller with a strong sense of aesthetic and brand tone
Comfortable shooting content on iPhone or DSLR in natural or studio light
Able to work independently and organize content efficiently
Familiar with tools like Instagram Reels, TikTok, CapCut, Canva, and Google Drive
Passionate about fashion, culture, sustainability, and African storytelling
🧡 Bonus (But Not Required):
Experience with styled fashion shoots or fashion video content
Background in content creation for lifestyle, beauty, or fashion brands
Experience working in Lagos studio settings or coordinating with creative teams
📎 Logistics
You’ll work on-site in our Lagos studio 1–2 times/week for content capture
Remote editing + scheduling for remaining hours
Weekly check-ins with our founder
