About the Role

We are hiring a Short-Form Content Researcher & Scriptwriter. Your job is to study short-form videos that perform well and turn what works into clear, ready-to-film scripts.

This role focuses on research and writing before filming starts. Your work helps shape how content performs from the beginning.

What You’ll Do

• Research high-performing short-form content

• Break content down into:

• Hooks

• Angles

• Script flow

• Retention moments

• Formats

• Write short-form scripts that are clear and easy to film

• Create content ideas that hold attention and drive action

• Organize research and scripts in Notion

• Work with the creative team to improve scripts over time

What You Should Understand

• How short-form content works:

• Hooks

• Pacing

• Structure

• Calls to action

• How businesses use content to build trust and drive action

• Basic marketing concepts like target audience and conversion funnels.

• Online and social media culture (trends & memes)

You do not need to be a platform expert. You do need to spot patterns and think clearly.

Requirements

• Strong organization skills

• Familiar with Notion and ChatGPT

• Familiar with short-form content

• Able to work independently

• Based in Los Angeles

• Clear communicator

Nice to Have

• Video or filmmaking experience

• iPhone content shooting experience

• Agency or social media experience

• Client-facing experience
