What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage scheduling functions and patient registration for upcoming visits during one call
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and secure payment for financial clearance
• Collect and verify required demographic and financial data for pre-registration and future services
• Complete all pre-certification requirements by obtaining necessary authorizations from insurers
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on departmental needs

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience
• Experience in a professional, customer service-driven environment may substitute for college education
• Familiarity with working in a production-driven call center environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Two plus years of college or completion of a related medical certification program
• Previous telephone/call center experience
• Experience in pre-registration and/or scheduling
• Working knowledge of a Windows-based computer environment
• Ability to multitask across multiple systems simultaneously
