Job Overview:

Mark IV Hair Designs is seeking a highly accurate and detail-oriented Remote Transcriptionist to convert audio and video recordings into written documents. The ideal candidate has excellent listening skills, strong grammar, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Listen to audio/video recordings and accurately transcribe content

Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and clarity

Ensure confidentiality and security of all sensitive information

Meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy standards

Follow formatting guidelines and documentation procedures

Communicate with supervisors regarding unclear audio or special requirements

Required qualifications

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus)

Previous transcription experience preferred but not required

Excellent listening, typing, and grammar skills

Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Proficiency with word processing software (Microsoft Word, Google Docs)

Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
