About The Role We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Work from Home TurboTax Product Experts. In this role, you will serve as a frontline support specialist, assisting TurboTax customers with their questions regarding the use of TurboTax products and tax software. Your primary responsibility will be to provide clear, empathetic, and effective support to help users navigate their tax return process seamlessly. This position offers the flexibility to create your own work schedule within specified hours, making it ideal for those seeking a work-from-home opportunity with a dynamic and supportive team. You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support from experienced professionals to ensure your success in this role.

Qualifications To excel as a TurboTax Product Expert, candidates should possess strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset. While no specific accounting background is required, enthusiasm for learning and helping others is essential. Candidates should be comfortable with technology and capable of understanding and explaining software features in a clear and empathetic manner. The ability to adapt quickly to new information and maintain a positive attitude while assisting customers is highly valued. Prior experience in customer service or technical support is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates must have reliable internet access and a quiet workspace to perform their duties effectively.

Responsibilities As a TurboTax Product Expert, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by answering inquiries related to TurboTax products and tax software, including downloading, logging in, basic navigation, importing documents, printing, filing, and addressing simple tax questions.
  • Guiding customers through the software features and troubleshooting common issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Maintaining a professional and empathetic communication style to foster trust and satisfaction among users.
  • Participating in certification training over a three-day period to enhance product knowledge and support skills.
  • Building a flexible work schedule between 8am EST and 12am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday, with a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week.
  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Marketplace Performance Specialists (MPS) for ongoing support and performance improvement.
  • Adhering to company policies and quality standards to deliver consistent and reliable support to all customers.
