About The Role As a Work from Home TurboTax Product Expert, you will play a vital role in supporting customers by providing expert guidance on TurboTax products and tax-related questions. Your primary responsibility will be to assist users in navigating the software, troubleshooting common issues, and answering questions related to downloading, logging in, importing documents, printing, filing, and addressing basic tax inquiries. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to set your own working hours between 8 am EST and 12 am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning. Enthusiasm for helping others and the ability to articulate solutions clearly are essential. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and managing their schedule effectively. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with software applications are required. This role does not necessitate a background in accounting or tax preparation, making it accessible to individuals from diverse professional backgrounds eager to expand their skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities In this role, your key responsibilities will include assisting TurboTax customers by answering questions related to the software and tax filing process. You will help users with downloading and installing the software, logging in, importing documents, navigating basic features, printing, and filing their returns. Providing empathetic and clear communication to ensure customer satisfaction is paramount. You will also support users in resolving common issues and guide them through the software's functionalities. During live calls, you will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who will support and mentor you. Additionally, you will participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product features and best practices. Building a flexible schedule that aligns with your availability while maintaining a minimum of 25 hours per week is expected, with opportunities to work more hours if desired. The role also involves earning bonuses, including a certification bonus and a special promotional boost, which incentivize performance and commitment.
Benefits Working as a TurboTax Product Expert offers numerous benefits, including competitive hourly pay of $18.50 per hour, along with a $405 certification bonus upon completing training. During the promotional period from April 9 to 15, you can earn an additional $5 per hour for all hours worked, with unlimited hours available.
