Promoter/ Manager for Wedding+Corporate Band

The Pleasanton-based Ruby Band is seeking a promoter.

We're an established popular wedding and event band focused on corporate events, weddings, fundraisers, festivals, and exclusive private parties. We cover a territory that includes the 9-county Bay Area plus Napa, Tahoe, Monterey/ Carmel, Sacramento.

Our 10-piece band consists of 2 female lead singers, 1 male lead singer/rhythm guitarist, lead guitarist, bassist, multi-keyboardist, drummer, and 3-piece horn section (trumpet, sax, trombone). We also perform as 6- or 7-piece without horns. Link to promo videos: youtube.com/@RubyBandUSA

One female singer was an American Idol contestant on 4 TV episodes. Other female singer wrote songs for Blondie.

We need a manager/promoter to help with bookings, gig day logistics, and marketing including promo videos & social media.

We target high-end weddings in Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey, Atherton, Hillsborough, Napa, Marin, Sonoma, Tahoe -- and -- big tech corporate events in Silicon Valley & San Francisco that pay in the range of $10,000 to $15,000+ for big bands like ours with brass section and multiple great singers.

Starting = 20% commission for shows you procure (gigs grossing $8300 or higher); and depending on your skills and contribution a path to $3000 or more per show when we achieve all the above goals. We can provide detailed contact lists of venues, booking agents, & event planners.

IN ADDITION YOU WILL RECEIVE A MONTHLY FEE for social media work and cold-calling festivals; AND A GIG DAY FEE for helping at each gig.

Must have prior experience doing all of the above, provide good references, have a car and live within 1-hour drive of Dublin, CA., and ability to write proposals.
