What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Recruit blood donors by telephone, using a provided script and escalating difficult calls to senior colleagues
- Schedule appointments to maximize daily donor turnout
- Maintain daily production standards for phone calls and appointment scheduling
- Develop knowledge of donor eligibility criteria to assist and inform potential donors
- Maintain accurate records of donor contacts and appointments to ensure sufficient donor availability
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on a team and experience with computer systems
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in a customer service role within a healthcare or nonprofit organization
- Knowledge of donor recruitment strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with blood donation processes and criteria
- Previous volunteer experience in humanitarian services
