What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Recruit blood donors by telephone, using a provided script and escalating difficult calls to senior colleagues
• Schedule appointments to maximize daily donor turnout
• Maintain daily production standards for phone calls and appointment scheduling
• Develop knowledge of donor eligibility criteria to assist and inform potential donors
• Maintain accurate records of donor contacts and appointments to ensure sufficient donor availability

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on a team and experience with computer systems

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in a customer service role within a healthcare or nonprofit organization
• Knowledge of donor recruitment strategies and techniques
• Familiarity with blood donation processes and criteria
• Previous volunteer experience in humanitarian services
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
