Job Description
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Personal Assistant to provide administrative support to our Principal/Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the principal's personal and professional life, including scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, and handling correspondence.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Scheduling:* Manage the principal's calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
2. *Travel Arrangements:* Make travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and rental cars.
3. *Correspondence:* Handle correspondence, including email, mail, and phone calls.
4. *Personal Errands:* Run personal errands, including grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and dropping off packages.
5. *Household Management:* Manage the principal's household, including supervising household staff, managing household expenses, and coordinating home maintenance.
6. *Event Planning:* Plan and coordinate events, including parties, dinners, and other social gatherings.
7. *Gift Purchasing:* Purchase gifts for the principal's personal and professional relationships.
8. *Record Keeping:* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including calendars, contacts, and expense reports.
9. *Discretion and Confidentiality:* Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or personal matters.
10. *Miscellaneous Tasks:* Perform miscellaneous tasks, including dog walking, plant care, and other tasks as needed.
*Requirements:*
1. *Education:* High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
2. *Experience:* Minimum 2 years of experience as a personal assistant or in a related role.
3. *Skills:*
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
4. *Personal Qualities:*
- Discreet and diplomatic when handling sensitive or personal matters.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
