Job Description Summary The Specialist, Patient Registration is responsible for facilitating new patient's transition to Option Care Health services with the goal of delivering a consistent onboarding experience where patients and referral partners feel Option Care Health makes it easy to transition care. The Specialist, Patient Registration works in conjunction with Sales to prepare patients for OCH services and facilitates all aspects of the patient's transition to home/AIS.

Job Responsibilities Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery. Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals. Secures patient's upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patient to financial assistance program). Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing).
