Back in 5 is a travel-tech startup building a smarter way to plan and book trips. We combine intelligent itinerary building with live data to help modern travellers go from idea to booked trip faster.

We’re preparing for launch and are looking for an experienced Travel Advisor to join us in an advisory capacity as we refine our product and commercial strategy.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Agent or Independent Travel Advisor to work with us on a part-time advisory basis (approximately 5–10 hours per month).

This is not a traditional booking role. Instead, you will:

• Provide guidance on industry best practices

• Advise on supplier relationships and commission structures

• Offer feedback on product features from a frontline agent perspective

• Help shape our go-to-market strategy

• Identify opportunities where Back in 5 can generate high-quality leads for travel agents

• Support strategic decisions as we scale

We are particularly interested in someone who owns or operates an independent travel agency and is open to leveraging Back in 5 as a lead generation channel. Note, this is preferred but not a must, we are even more interested in someone looking to work with a world-class startup.

Who You Are

• 4+ years of experience as a Travel Agent or Independent Travel Advisor

• Ideally running or affiliated with an independent agency

• Strong understanding of GDS systems, commissions, and supplier networks

• Commercially minded and forward-thinking

• Excited by travel technology and innovation

• Comfortable working with early-stage startups

• Willing to contribute strategically, not just operationally
