About the Role

AfterQuery is seeking Order Clerk Experts to create and refine order processing challenges for training AI models. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate order management scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex order fulfillment principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world order entry, inventory coordination, and customer communication with precision and practical insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven order processing practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of logistics technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality order processing questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as order entry, order verification, inventory availability, shipping coordination, customer inquiries, order discrepancies, return processing, and more.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to order processing best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with a team of operations and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an order clerk, order processor, or in order fulfillment operations with a robust understanding of order management systems and customer service.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Skills

• Multiple years of order processing experience, ideally across diverse industries (manufacturing, wholesale, e-commerce, distribution, etc.).
• Prior involvement in operations training, process improvement initiatives, or logistics technology projects.
• Experience with inventory management systems, shipping coordination, or customer relationship management is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI or technology-driven order management applications is a plus.
