Role Description
The Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring new property managers successfully launch and perform on the Whimstay platform. This role owns the post-sale experience from contract close through go-live and the first 90 days of account management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-minded, and comfortable managing a large portfolio of accounts while optimizing listings for conversion, troubleshooting issues, and setting hosts up for early booking success.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that sits at the intersection of sales, account management, and operations, and is essential to driving host satisfaction and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard new property managers, guiding from close of sale through setup, and go-live.
- Resolve any technical issues, working with Engineering &/or software partners.

- Manage accounts for the first 90 days live, with a focus on driving bookings, optimizing for conversion, and ensuring long-term host success.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years’ experience in account management, sales, customer support, or related customer-facing role, with a preference for applicants with short term rental industry experience.
- Comfortable analyzing performance data and using insights to optimize listings and drive bookings.
- Efficient and adaptive in fast-paced settings / proficient with technology / proven ability to manage a high-volume book of business (100+ active accounts preferred).
- Ability to work autonomously, sourcing information with little direction.
- High degree of accuracy and attention-to-detail with ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Thrives in a startup culture.
Language: English: Fluent

Base Salary: $50,000 + Performance-Based Bonuses
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $70,000+
