2. About the Opportunity:
The Member Support Coordinator serves as the initial contact for patients and providers seeking assistance. This role is essential for managing incoming communications, resolving inquiries promptly, and connecting callers with specialized resources when needed. The position contributes to patient satisfaction and operational efficiency by delivering timely, accurate support in a dynamic environment.
3. Responsibilities:
• Handle high-volume inbound calls supporting service level objectives
• Manage clinical referrals, consent forms, and general inquiries via designated communication channels
• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and active listening to address caller needs
• Collaborate across departments to ensure coordinated care and service delivery
• Maintain flexibility and a solution-focused attitude amid ongoing changes
• Support various projects as opportunities arise
• Perform duties with reasonable accommodations for disabilities when required
4. Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or administrative support experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven problem-solving ability in fast-paced settings
• Effective multitasking and time management for prompt issue resolution
• Preferred experience in healthcare or inbound contact centers
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional during interactions
• Openness to feedback and adaptability to changing workflows and policies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues
