Marketing Content Creator (Part-Time, Project-Based, Remote)

Maker Mindz is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making STEM education engaging, accessible, and inspiring for K-12 students through hands-on learning, digital tools, and educational media.

We are seeking a creative and outgoing Marketing Content Creator to record authentic videos. This role involves speaking with real people - students, educators, and professionals to capture genuine perspectives. This is a project-based, flexible, remote role. All video editing will be handled by our internal team.

Responsibilities:

• Record short interview-style STEM videos using a smartphone or camera
• Engage with individuals and ask meaningful STEM-related questions. Questions will be provided by us.
• Capture high-quality raw video and audio
• Upload and organize footage for editing
• Deliver videos according to agreed project timelines

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with new people and conducting interviews
• Ability to record clear, stable video
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Interest in STEM, education, or content creation

Preferred:

• Experience creating content for YouTube or Instagram
• On-camera or interview experience
• Background or interest in STEM fields

Work Details:

• Part-time, project-based role

Expected Deliverables:

• A set number of raw videos per project or per month
• Videos that are clear, engaging, and usable by the editing team
