Job Summary:
The Laboratory Technician I is an entry-level role supporting routine laboratory operations within a quality-focused environment. This position is ideal for early-career candidates with academic or internship laboratory experience who are eager to gain hands-on bench exposure. The role involves sample preparation, routine testing, documentation, and general laboratory support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and other laboratory samples of moderate scope
• Prepare standard and sample solutions while maintaining accurate and thorough laboratory documentation
• Support laboratory investigations related to out-of-specification or out-of-trend results
• Assist with maintenance and calibration of analytical laboratory instruments
• Coordinate the shipment of materials to external contract laboratories for testing
• Clean laboratory glassware and maintain organized bench and work areas
• Order, stock, and properly dispose of laboratory supplies and reagents
• Support stability program activities, including sample handling and placement
• Assist with sampling of incoming materials as needed
• Execute assigned projects of limited to moderate scope under supervision
Required Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in Science or a related field
• Hands-on laboratory or bench experience gained through coursework, internships, or academic laboratory settings
• Exposure to sample preparation, routine laboratory testing, and basic documentation practices
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with inventory management in a laboratory environment
• Familiarity with quality-controlled or regulated laboratory settings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
