Position Title:
Bookkeeper – Real Estate & Service-Based Businesses

Reporting To: Chris Savor, CEO
Location: Remote | Preferred overlap with EST
Status & Hours: Independent Contractor | ~10–15 hrs/week to start | Role designed to grow into full-time as client base expands
Compensation:
- Phase 1 (Training/Onboarding – First 90 Days): Hourly $10/hr, approx. 10–15 hrs/week
- Phase 2 (After 90 Days – Full Ramp): 8% of client monthly fees, plus performance bonus of 2% if books are accurate and closed by the 10th (bonuses paid quarterly)
Start Date: ASAP

You’re a Perfect Fit If...
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience (real estate or service-based businesses a plus)
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certified
- Skilled in reconciliations across banks, credit cards, Stripe, PayPal, Bill.com
- Solid understanding of accrual accounting & revenue tracking by property/project
- Comfortable with fixed assets (CapEx, depreciation, asset disposal)
- Able to interpret tax returns for reporting accuracy
- Proactive in spotting discrepancies & delivering clean monthly financials
- Improve systems, don’t just follow them
- Clear communicator: direct, kind, solutions-oriented
- Able to juggle multiple clients/entities while staying organized and on deadline
- Excited to help clients understand the story behind their numbers
Core Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Accuracy
- Record & categorize all transactions (accrual basis)
- Manage fixed asset entries, depreciation, CapEx
- Reconcile accounts (banks, credit cards, merchant platforms)
- Track revenue/expenses by property or client
- Prepare accurate monthly financials & flag discrepancies
- Review tax returns for reporting accuracy
Systems & SOPs
- Build and document recurring bookkeeping systems
- Improve workflows and financial documentation
- Maintain/update SOPs for consistency
Communication & Collaboration
- Work directly with Chris, CPAs, and the team
- Proactively raise red flags, updates, and support needs
- Act as a partner, not just a task-taker
