DentalScan is a fast-growing healthcare startup bringing hands-on dentistry into a virtual, scalable platform to expand access to preventive dental care and early health insights.

We currently have a team of 25+ people working across product, data, outreach, and operations. We’re actively partnering with charities and community organizations to donate and deploy our software to support families in need, underserved children, and homeless populations. This role sits at the center of that work.

This internship is unpaid and offered as a college-credit eligible position. It’s not designed for someone looking for a paycheck.

It’s for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, founder-level exposure, and resume-defining experience while working on something that genuinely helps the community.

• Internship DetailsDuration: 3 months
• Time Commitment: 25–30 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid (ideal for Sarasota, Tampa Bay, or Fort Myers area)

What you’ll work on

You’ll be involved end-to-end in the investor and community outreach process:

• Managing the investor and partner pipeline (tracking, follow-ups, inbox monitoring)
• Supporting data collection, organization, and lead list building
• Coordinating outreach across LinkedIn, email, text, and calls
• Supporting relationship building with investors, partners, and charities
• Helping manage and coordinate a small data/outreach team
• Keeping execution moving across outreach, development, and community initiatives

You’ll see how outreach turns into funding, partnerships, and real-world programs that directly impact families and children.
