Position Overview
A regional operations team is seeking a Regional Grocery Onboarding Specialist to own the onboarding process for new regional grocery merchant partners using an integrated commerce platform. This client-facing position is responsible for managing all project steps from onboarding through the first 30 days post-activation, and for maintaining strong working relationships with integration partners. The role is ideal for a highly organized communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at tracking multiple projects and schedules simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full end-to-end onboarding process for new regional grocery merchants, ensuring a seamless experience from initial setup to successful activation.
- Serve as the main point of contact for both merchant partners and external integration representatives, maintaining proactive communication and coordinating weekly task reviews.
- Track onboarding progress using project trackers, identify and address blockers, and facilitate timely issue resolution with all stakeholders.
- Communicate with relevant internal teams (such as catalog/data management) to ensure accurate and consistent information transfer for merchant integration.
- Monitor merchant progress during the first 30 days on the platform and ensure satisfaction and operational success.
- Organize and participate in regular calls with integration partners to review outstanding tasks and troubleshoot challenges.
- Provide detailed, external-facing project updates and account management support.
- Maintain a high level of organization amidst multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities.
Requirements
- 1–2 years experience in project coordination, project management, or customer success with client-facing responsibilities.
- Proven organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using project tracking systems or CRMs (Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus).
- Effective external communication skills, including leading client meetings and coordinating with integration partners.
- Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and an ability to control shifting workflows.
