Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting a diverse range of clients. Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Handle accrual basis accounting for startup and service-based clients.

• Prepare and deliver financial reports to clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

• Onboard new clients by setting up accounts and streamlining their bookkeeping processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a cohesive and supportive work environment.

• Communicate with clients to address discrepancies and gather necessary documentation.

• Utilize QuickBooks and occasionally Xero for day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

• Provide bookkeeping services to a variety of industries, including medical, dental, legal, and other specialized services.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with Xero is a plus.

• Strong expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Ability to work with diverse clients, including startups and small businesses.

• Knowledge of accrual basis accounting and financial reporting.

• Reliable and steady work style with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
