Happy Girl Club is a women’s social community built around connection, confidence, and unforgettable experiences. We’re expanding into Happy Girl Getaways—curated group trips designed to bring women together through meaningful travel, both domestically and internationally.
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Travel Agent to work closely with our founder and team to plan, coordinate, and execute group travel experiences throughout the year.
About the Role
This is a remote, freelance (1099) role with consistent hours depending on trip volume. You’ll be responsible for the behind-the-scenes logistics that turn our travel ideas into seamless, stress-free group trips.
You’ll collaborate directly with the Happy Girl Club team to manage travel planning, vendor coordination, booking, and traveler communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate domestic and international group trips (flights, accommodations, ground transportation, activities)
- Research destinations and build group-friendly itineraries aligned with the Happy Girl Getaways brand
- Coordinate with hotels, tour operators, DMCs, airlines, and local vendors
- Manage group bookings, contracts, and deadlines
- Serve as the main travel point of contact for travelers pre-trip (and during travel, if needed)
- Ensure all travel complies with international requirements (visas, insurance, passports, etc.)
- Support pricing strategy and trip budgets in collaboration with the team
- Assist with trip timelines, FAQs, and logistics documents
- Help problem-solve quickly and calmly if issues arise
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years experience as a Travel Agent or Group Travel Planner
- Strong experience with group travel, retreats, or hosted trips
- Comfortable planning international travel
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiar with travel booking systems and vendor negotiations
- Bonus: experience working with women-focused brands, communities, or influencers
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
- IATA/CLIA certification
- Experience planning influencer-led or community trips
- Familiarity with travel insurance, waivers, and group contracts
