IBF Connect (www.ibfconnect.eu), leader in the institutional events business, is advertising for the role of Event Organiser to deliver the logistic organisation of events for one of our EC funded project.
The candidates must have proven professional experience in logistics and organisation of events, conferences, workshops, seminars, in USA, onsite, online and hybrid.
The position is for an event organiser working on a free-lance basis, remotely, necessarely based in Washington DC or vicinity.
Requirements and experience:
· Organisation and implementation of public sectors’ events, workshops, conferences, seminars, onsite, hybrid and online.
· Use of platforms such as Zoom, MS Teams, and others.
· Searching, booking and contracting events’ facilities, conference and venues
· Negotiating best offer with suppliers applying efficient and transparent use of public funds,
· Provision of technical equipment (A/V) and IT needs for onsite and virtual events
· Organisation of caterings services: coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, cocktails
· Organisation and management of third parties’ suppliers: photographer, technicians, shipping and delivery
· Onsite events assistance and coordination
· Being digitally native, IT literate, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
· Excellent participants and client customer service
· Accustomed to post event reporting
· Excellent team player
